For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the construction industry, building trust and turning dreams into reality for homeowners in Lafayette, LA, and the surrounding Acadiana area. It all started in the 1970s with a summer job remodeling his great-grandfathers historic downtown Lafayette property. Francis’ passion for building led him to establish Delhomme Builders Inc. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to gain hands-on experience in everything from running a granite countertop fabrication business to designing and building custom homes. That journey has shaped my approach to construction, blending craftsmanship with innovative design in a way that’s become a hallmark of my work. At Delhomme Builders, we believe that every project starts with understanding every detail in the scope of work. For me, that means sitting down with homeowners and really listening to what they want—whether they’re dreaming of a custom home, a kitchen remodel, or a bathroom makeover. It’s all about getting a clear picture of their vision before we break ground. This client-first approach is something that’s helped me build lasting relationships, and it’s why each project is always tailored to the unique needs of the homeowner.
